Welcome to Marks Golf Course

Welcome to the Marks Golf Website located in Circleville, Ohio. We currently have two 9 hole courses: a par 3 course and a regulation course of par 36. The regulation course was opened in late Summer of 2004. Both courses are designed, built and maintained by the owners.

The regulation Course has been a long time in the making and well worth waiting for. It was carved out of dense woods which was farmland 60 years ago and since then has been left alone for trees to dominate. The trees were removed with chainsaws and then turned into mulch.

As of the end of Summer 2005, the greens on the regulation par-36 course are being completly redone and hope to be grown back in by spring. The original configuration for our greens was all sand, otherwise know as 'California Greens.' We, at Marks Golf, saw that these greens were not in our best interest and have converted them to a sand/soil mix. The greens that have germinated show much promise for the upcoming year. If you were out in late 2005, come back and see the greens for 2006, they will be of much better quality.

Also in current news, the par-3 course has the irrigation system installed. With the dry weather Central Ohio had in 2005, Mark Sr feels there was no better time investment than the irrigation being completed.
We are open all year round and will allow play with weather permitting.

Our current rates are:
Regulation - Par 36:
Walking: $8 for 9 holes / $14 for 18 holes
Riding $14 for 9 holes /$20 for 18 holes ( per person )

9 Hole - Par 3:
Walking $6 for 9 hole / $11 for 18 holes
